Privacy Policy
Last updated September 16, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ACRE Services, LLC (“ACRE Services,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit acreservices.law, contact us through the Site, or exchange calls or text messages with us.
Information you give us after we sign an engagement agreement is governed by that agreement, by the attorney-client privilege, and by the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct, which are more protective than this policy. This policy covers information collected outside an existing engagement.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, use the chat widget, email us, call us, or text us, we collect what you choose to provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, and a description of your matter or question.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
Communications records. We keep records of calls, text messages, and emails exchanged with us, including their content, date, and time.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers through the Site’s forms. Do not enter that information into a web form. If a matter requires it, we will arrange a secure method.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it;
- run conflict-of-interest checks before deciding whether we can represent you;
- schedule, confirm, and follow up on consultations and appointments;
- provide legal services under a signed engagement agreement;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- send administrative messages about the Site or our services; and
- comply with legal, regulatory, and professional-responsibility obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.
4. Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use your mobile number only to communicate with you about your inquiry, your consultation, or your matter. We do not sell mobile numbers, we do not license them, and we do not provide them to any third party for that party’s own marketing.
You may stop receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP. See the Text Messaging (SMS) Terms in our Terms of Service for the full program description, message frequency, and rates.
5. When we disclose information
We disclose personal information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. To vendors who perform services for us and need the information to do so: website hosting, email, our client relationship management and communications platform, telephony and text-messaging providers, calendaring, and document storage. They are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, subject always to the attorney-client privilege and our duty of confidentiality, which we assert wherever they apply.
- Professional obligations. As permitted or required by the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of the firm, consistent with our professional obligations regarding client files and consent.
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information with a specific person or entity.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes under any circumstances.
6. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to keep it working and to remember your preferences. We do not currently use third-party analytics services. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the provider before it is used.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Email and text message are not secure channels. Do not use them to send sensitive information. As noted in our Terms of Service, information sent before we sign an engagement agreement with you may not be privileged or confidential.
8. Retention
We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond to you, to maintain the conflict-of-interest records our professional obligations require, and to comply with applicable law. Client files are retained under our file-retention policy and the applicable rules of professional conduct.
9. Your choices and rights
You may at any time:
- opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message from us;
- opt out of email by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us (we may still send transactional messages about an active matter);
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of information that is inaccurate; or
- request deletion of your information, subject to our legal, professional, and file-retention obligations, which in many cases require us to keep client and conflict records.

10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
